Interesting flights at BHX
This page is being built as the enthusiast layer of BHX-info: unusual visitors, long-haul movements and noteworthy aircraft worth looking out for at Birmingham Airport.
Not live yet. We will not manufacture a list of “interesting” aircraft from sample data. This feature will activate when the licensed flight feed can reliably identify aircraft type, operator and movement data.
What the finished feature will do
The aim is to automatically surface movements that differ from the normal BHX pattern, then give enthusiasts enough context to decide whether a trip to the viewing area is worthwhile. Candidate signals include uncommon aircraft types, first or last seasonal services, diversions and unusual operators.
It will sit alongside live arrivals, live departures, BHX weather and the viewing locations guide.
